Today, the SUM4Re consortium gathered at the EBC office for our first official Review Meeting, covering project progress from Month 1 to Month 18. The full-day agenda brought together all Work Area leaders to present achievements, challenges, and next steps across the project’s technical, scientific, and management activities.

The meeting opened with an introduction by UVIGO, followed by a detailed overview of project management, dissemination, communication, and exploitation actions. The core of the day focused on the technical progress within each Work Area, from smart data acquisition and AI development to sustainable waste reduction, secondary materials supply, productivity improvements, and pilot site demonstrators.

The day was punctuated with valuable insight and productive discussions with our Project Officers at the European Commission, acknowledging the strong contributions from all partners and the promising results achieved so far. With the first half of the project ending in a satisfying note, we hope to carry the good work until the completion of SUM4Re.

A big thank you to everyone involved for the hard work, dedication, and cooperation that made this review a success. We look forward to continuing this positive momentum as SUM4Re advances into its next phase!
