The clustering workshop, “Re-valuing resources: Circular solutions for a sustainable future”, is now available to watch online !

During Sustainable Places #2025, eight Horizon Europe projects: ReBoat, THESEUS, DeremCo, Wood2Wood, YouRban, SUM4Re, ICONIC, and STORCITO, came together to showcase how circular economy solutions are accelerating Europe’s transition to climate neutrality. From islands to cities and industrial systems, each project brought real-world insights, innovations, and hands-on demonstrations.

Workshop Highlights:

• Material reuse & recycling : mobile and decentralized recycling infrastructures in action
  
• Urban regeneration & planning : citizen engagement and nature-based solutions
  
• Wood & composites innovation : upcycling technologies, digital traceability, and life cycle assessments
  
• Digital and robotic tools : enabling scalable, demand-driven circular supply chains
  
• Community-driven resilience : addressing tourism, mobility, wildfire prevention, and energy systems

The workshop included flash pitches, a panel discussion on enablers and barriers, and an interactive Q&A, offering a unique chance to learn from experts and explore replicable solutions and investment opportunities to transform linear value chains into regenerative systems across Europe.
