As part of the SUM4Re project, our partners from UVIGO and EAGLE traveled to Svalbard, Norway on June 12–13, 2025, to carry out essential data collection activities in the field.
This hands-on mission focused on testing and applying technologies for automated on-site data acquisition and building material and component identification—key steps toward the project’s overarching goal.
By collecting data in such a unique and challenging environment, the team is helping to advance sustainable strategies for resource recovery and reuse within the construction sector.
We’re grateful to our partners for their hands-on work under challenging Arctic conditions. Their efforts play a crucial role in advancing research and innovation within the SUM4Re framework.
👏 Thank you to the teams from UVIGO and EAGLE for your dedication and valuable contributions!
