Last Friday, SUM4Re participated in a vibrant science outreach event in Lalín (Pontevedra, Spain), organized by the University of Vigo. The event attracted more than 2,000 students, aged 10 to 13, offering them an opportunity to discover the world of science and technology.
During the fair, the SUM4Re project was presented to the students, sparking discussions around circular construction, reuse of materials, and sustainability. Children were curious about how digital tools and new construction practices can help reduce waste and build a greener future.

This event also highlighted the importance of gender balance in STEM careers, encouraging both girls and boys to imagine themselves as future engineers, scientists, and innovators.
We are proud that SUM4Re could be part of this initiative and help inspire the next generation of problem-solvers. Through science outreach, we aim to make complex topics like circular construction accessible and engaging to young people, building the foundations for a more sustainable tomorrow.
