Hosted by our partner R2M Solution, and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, Sustainable Places (SP) is an annual hybrid event focused on sustainability in the built environment, taking place from September 23 to 25, 2024. The conference aims to address sustainability targets and climate change by discussing innovative solutions related to buildings, urban planning, and energy systems, showcasing results from EU-funded research projects.

Today, SUM4Re and fellow sister projects gathered in a workshop to discuss a common topic of research: Data Management for Enhanced Built Environment Circularity. In the workshop, partners discuss best practices in digital solutions for circularity in the construction sector. We also discuss the digital tools for sustainable building solutions and examined the possibility of reusing components in constructions. We had an enlightening discussion with projects that were more advanced in their practices and their experience was inspiring and will greatly nourrish our reflections moving forward.

A special thank you is addressed to Inès Kahin, from R2M Solution, who represented the project at Sustainable Places.
